Hello followers and anyone who is reading this, I just wanted to apologize for copying/getting inspired by other people's mdbs without crediting the original creators, it was never my intention to copy them and I promise I won't do it again and if I do it again this time it will be crediting the corresponding creators,I also want to say that I didn't know before that this was copying because I didn't know how Tumblr worked at the time, but after reconsidering it I have to accept my mistake and be honest with you. even so I want to tell you that the people I have blocked is because of their attitude after the accusations that made me reconsider my friendship with them, for my own good, I know that i do not deserve all the hate that I received, but the truth is, I cannot control those reactions. In case it's someone's first time hearing about my au, allow me to summarize it: Bonnie's natural form isn't humanoid, it's dragonic, like Neddy's, and if she pushes too far physically and/or mentally she regresses to her dragon form as a way to recover, and the change is not only on a physical level, but mental too, so she acts pretty much like an animal until she's back to normal (it's kind of like dragon burnout snxjsbs) (if anyone os interested in reading more about just enter the tag "Dragon Bonnie AU", I have a few posts talking about it).

Okay... So im going to make one post about this and one post only.

Ive been having issues in this community because of who i self ship with, thats a very vague way of putting it. Ive been made aware of a situation directly that has both equally caused me to get hate and ive noticed some mutuals of mine ignoring me more ever since it started. Under the cut since this is a long post

Okay just to start off first; clearly this must be a burner or something because going to this account directly, its the default tumblr blog theme with no posts or edited bio or anything. Im not going to respond to hate asks anymore, okay? I shouldnt in the first place but usually i tried to address them just a little, mostly wanting to understand why i was being sent it in the first place, my fault. But still. (I still blocked out the user just in case) just to note, this is not the only hate ive been sent in asks lately. I had to cut anon off again. But ig people will still find workarounds.

Okay. I DO NOT. want to cause ANY discomfort, jealousy, negative feelings, etc, just because of who i self ship with. Im sorry its made people uncomfortable because they share the same f/o but i do what i can to ensure they dont see me. I use the same exact tag on my self ship art and gushes and whatever, i dont interact with them, i have them BLOCKED or vice versa, hell i even try to not interact with their mutuals unless if weve already established being mutuals. I even have directly said- if anyone who follows me is mutuals with someone else who is uncomfortable with people interacting with me (or other daisuke self shippers in general) then you dont need to interact with me, because above all else im TRYING to consider the comfort of other people. I have never once tried to make people forcibly side with me, i have never said anyone else is invalid because of their self ship, i have never wanted anyone to be excluded and even, i encourage people to be mutuals with other daisuke self shippers as i can block said daisuke self shippers and they can be given my tag if need be because everyone deserves support. This has been going on for longer than it needs to tbh, i kept thinking i was the issue, i wanted to leave, but now im just .. upset. Whether its all from the same person or not, idk. But please know that above all else causing anyone to feel negatively because of me has never been my intention. Ive been extremely stressed out over this, feeling guilty and horrible, and sometimes aggravated.

Dont vague post about me if you know your followers and mutuals know who youre referring to. And even then, dont do it without first explicitly making it known that you dont condone hate being sent, but ultimately even if you do say that it wont always stop people. Please stop sending me asks trying to invalidate my self ship when ive never done that to anyone else. If youre mutuals with someone who is not okay with you interacting with me then respect those boundaries, because i am super tired of having to deal with the backlash of things im not even trying to cause. I want everyone to be comfortable, i want everyone to feel safe in their own space. But also i dont even feel comfortable in my own space now. I really dont wanna leave the community again tbh, ive made some close mutuals, i love supporting people, i love making my own self ship art and sharing it. But man, im tired!

Ive tried SO hard to keep this in private. I wanted it to be resolved without public notice. But even after i thought it was settled and resolved it hasnt stopped, and i dont even know if its from various people or not. Only very few people know more deeply whats been going on, and i hate that they were affected because of it too in ways. Whatever is going, just, i want it to chill out. Really. I have no ill will for anyone. If you see this and youre someone who has an issue with me you can dm me, ill talk it out with you.

I truly hope none of this comes off wrong, or aggressive or anything. I mean everything with as much respect as i can considering my current state. No matter what i dont condone harassment. I'm appalled by the way Vivziepop stans are treating Octavia for setting boundaries between her and Stolas. What really upsets me the most about it, I was in a similar situation as Octavia when I was younger. My father acted the same way Stolas did (minus the cheating) and put his girlfriend and her kids over my brother and I. He would do everything he could to not see my brother and I on the days that were supposed to be his visitation days.

The misogyny radiating from both Vivziepop and her fans makes me extremely uncomfortable. And it doesn't help that there have been instances on here where stans are invading the anti and critical tags just to harass anyone who makes one small criticism about Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and Vivziepop as a person and content creator.

I've said this before in another post, and I will say this again in case stans see this post, but I don't care if people watch Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. And I don't have an issue with people watching the shows. My only concern is those people who take any criticisms about both shows and the creator to heart and attacking anyone who makes those critiques. You could literally say that you wish that certain characters weren't drawn using too many shades of red, and you'll get shit on for it.

The whole "don't like, don't look" mentality needs to be normalized. If stans don't like people critiquing Vivziepop and her work, then they shouldn't be going through the anti and critical tags. They can easily just block antis/critics that come onto their feed and filter out the anti and critical tags. It's so easy to avoid any anti and critical content. But they instead decided to bully and harass anyone who says anything remotely critical.

To end this post (and in case any stan sees this post), I don't go into the regular tags and harass stans. As a matter of fact, I'm not on here often due to my mental health and other offline stuff. I'm also in the process of trying to find a full-time job because working part-time isn't financially supporting me anymore. People watching Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss isn't my main issue. My issue is stans harassing anyone that doesn't like the shows and Vivziepop.

As someone who knew nothing of Neil Gaiman before Good Omens, immediately became annoyed with him once I saw his internet posts and contributions to fandom discourse 5 years ago, and distanced myself from the fandom partly because I was really irritated by how much everyone worshipped him, I really hate the minority of smug voices that are basically like, "hahaha I'm so superior for never watching his cringey stuff and always knowing he was shit <3"

Stop using women's suffering to feed your ego and gain internet points. You did not know he was a rapist. Stop pretending that your annoyance with tumblr discourse gave you special insight into anything more serious. In hindsight, considering that he used his fame and status to manipulate women, that does give a more sinister feeling to his evident desire to be praised by adoring fans on tumblr, but there are also celebrities who've never been accused of anything and who use social media to promote their work with no ulterior motives. The fact is that most abusers do not seem like "the type" and do not put up red flags to people outside of their interpersonal relationships. It's important to understand this so that when someone accuses a person who you do like of abuse, you don't immediately dismiss them because, "What? No, not him! He's not that kind of guy!"

It would be a lot easier to stop abuse if the only people who committed it were the ones with outwardly bad or weird behavior.

TO be honest. I don’t understand what it means when people say Merlin was Arthur’s bane. Mayhaps I misunderstand but. Arthur was a bit of an assassination magnet (not to mention all those magical creatures and bandits... so many bandits), and Merlin actively prevented Arthur's death for years, which would have occured without him anway in the very first episode. I can see why one might argue that Merlin was just delaying the inevitable, or that he didn't succeed in keeping Arthur safe until Arthur could enact the golden age, but certainly I don’t see how he could have been Arthur’s bane.

Also, it’s implied in the last episode that the golden age does occur, but under Guinevere. Which makes sense as she knew Merlin was the sorcerer and that she was pleased about it (and I recall it was confirmed in interviews), so I also don’t follow the twin train of thought that Merlin was his own bane or even Camelot’s. Camelot was already bane-d(?) under Uther. But partly because of Merlin's steady friendship, Arthur matured into a king who was kinder than his father. He also actively sought magic's aid on multiple occasions, so he knew magic had potential for good (like healing his queen) without Merlin needing to tell him about his magic.

I don't think it's fair to say Camelot's laws on magic remaining relatively static was because no one close to Arthur came out as having magic. There was still much risk in that, and for Merlin a lot at stake, not just his life. A law change was still possible (and almost seemed to be set up that way) without Arthur needing someone he was personally close to having to do the work to humanize it for him (in the sense that the episodes with the druids, the druid boy with Elyan, and the dolma seemed like they were pointing to a law change because Arthur sees the diversity of magic and those who have it).

At worst Merlin’s efforts didn’t change the status quo, but we do have things indicating that they did. And Merlin was not single-mindedly serving Arthur at the expense of everyone else. He saved Camelot as a whole multiple times. He was also very willing to stick out his neck for many others even during the height of his anxiety and agitation in season 5. (Also only being slightly silly when I say this, but he was also THE wingman for Arthur when he was getting with Gwen, so in a way Merlin’s help led to their courting being a success and thus contributed to her being in a great position to change the laws. so personally I give points to Merlin for that). Most of the decisions centering Arthur's safety seemed to stem from the fear that Albion would crumble before it began if Arthur were to die, so he tried his best to prevent that from happening in any way he knew. (Like, when Arthur is dying, Merlin asks "So I failed?" regarding the whole golden age thing, which I think is telling that the prophesy and his role in it was still VERY much at the forefront of Merlin's mind).

And this is a digression but I know people think Merlin should have done more for Camelot, or for folks with magic (like, as a revolutionary or something akin), which I understand but no one reached out to network with him really? It'd require resources, people (always confused why there weren't a whole bunch more folks offering Merlin material/intellectual/emotional support if they thought he should be the one to bring about the golden age. all he was told was that the forseen way it actually happens succesfully is through Arthur), time (I doubt it’d have been much of a ‘quicker’ way necessarily), and incredible planning + foresight if it's meant to be something that works out effectively + long-term. Okay I think I've digressed enough now. This is a whole seperate thought that I don't think I'm gonna do any justice here lol, and I'm already rambling, so I'll stop now :,)

But anyway, in terms of being his own or Arthur’s bane, we know Arthur will return, and we don’t know how Merlin spent his years. His magic can play with time and maybe he learns how to control that, or he could have entered a stasis like in various legends, etc etc etc. And I mean it is tragic on many levels, and it’s sad we didn’t see Arthur’s arc completed, and that Merlin sacrificed so much for a goal that didn't get much acknowledgment by the show at the end, but still. I don’t think Merlin was Arthur’s bane, or Camelot’s, or his own.

How many people that were previously enemies has Sonic ACTUALLY befriended?

Like my knowledge of some old games and the handhelds ain't great, but...

There was Knuckles, who I think is the only one in the classic era.

He never really befriended Gamma in SA1, just left him to Amy.

Also he didn't befriend Chaos, just beat the anger out of him.

The next one was Shadow in SA2, although they're still kinda rivals?

I don't think Rouge counts in SA2 since she wasn't really an enemy of Sonic specifically, even in Heroes it's really Sonic and Shadow that start the fight.

Gemerl is a robot who was reprogrammed to be friendly, I wouldn't count that as "befriending someone".

Him and Jet are rivals in every Riders game, this never changes.

Blaze in Rush is someone that fought him and they became friends, so it's clear cut, she counts.

Silver in '06 does as well.

Do we count Shade from Chronicles? I think she had a boss fight. I know very little about that game but it's not canon, right?

Merlina is kinda a grey area? Like they were friends, he stopped her evil plans and was still nice to her. I don't know if in context that meets the criteria.

On top of that I don't think the Knights of the Round Table count. Sonic is there to take the swords and they work together at the end. I don't think there's any hard feelings, but don't know if this counts as "friends".

Sage could be the next example, but she's still loyal to Eggman. I don't think what they briefly shared was friendship as much as Sage wanting to save Eggman.

I haven't played Superstars but Trip doesn't even have a bossfight, does she? I don't think she counts.

Not looking at the method, just purely if they became friends down the line. Out of all of those, there's 4 total (if you count Shadow, which I do) with 1 it's complicated and 1 non-canon. That's very few when you consider how large the game cast is.

An overwhelming majority of his friends weren't ever hostile with him to begin with, like the Chaotix, Amy, Tails, Cream, Emerl, Big, ect. There's plenty of other cast members that are still have him on their shit list, like Eggman, Infinite (if he's alive), Fang, Metal, Eggman Nega, the Deadly Six...

Now I'm starting to wonder where this idea of it being a frequent even came from.

sorry im about to vent off topic :i s2g if they hint on handsome jack in the movie and it is NOT dameon clarke im gonna lose my marbles. I feel like when they look at the success of the characters as well the VAs do so much heavy lifting to giving life to these characters. why they didnt just use the VA for Claptrap from B3 is beyond me why did it need to be someone else so it doesnt even sound right - they def went for name recongition over matching the characters - kevin hart is so tiny hes such a small dude and roland is large and also if roland is alive wouldnt thta imply that jack's also alive. like handsome jack is so successful because of dameon. he gave so many off the cuff lines. and if they wnated to make a movie why would they not choose the tales gang if thats the one that gave them so much credit? sorry i have so many feelings and i, also so SICK of seeing tiny tina bein g used for literally every borderlands merch thing recently

I'm fine with actors putting their own spin on characters they play and seeing how their writing can be interpreted differently but with handsome jack it becomes really tricky cause like... dameon clarke MADE jack who he is. Like a lot of people credit him for how good of a character he is so whoever WOULD play jack would have a whole lot of expectations to match. We already hate the casting (which is 100% just to get attention instead of accurately portraying the characters) so imagine how much more we would hate it if they messed jack up

Overall the whole movie just adds to what I said about gbox being out of touch with the fandom. We got randy already claiming he wants to make a sequel when the whole fanbase has voiced concern and disinterest about the movie just based on the trailers and they're just really trying to force lilith and tina to be fan favorites when they're... not? Like I love them, especially lilith like that's my homegirl right there, but the fandom as a whole would disagree that they're even well-liked characters
